When the transparency unit is set on the flatbed scanner and a normal copy is scanned, the color is distorted |

When the transparency unit is attached to the scanner, any document not compatible with the flatbed will cause the transparency unit to work as if it were scanning film and the color will be distorted. Also, thin copies may not block light completely when the transparency unit is attached. To avoid this, use the reflective document mat or place a white sheet of paper on top of the copy before scanning. |
